Our time isantiheroic, a time in which idols have substituted for hero es and the necessity for selfassertionand personal benefit wins over this bodied development.However, the question still remains as to the excess in human potential andthe choices confronting an adventurous temperament extinguishing or at to the lowest degreeneglecting fear in the face of danger. No matter how extraordinary and crackers it mightbe, very often, heroic behaviour continues to enchant. This happens, possibly, becauseof the element of excess which is characterised, to a greater extent than at any other time, by aconvergence of the swear of modern man not to be hemmed in by someone mustsof the technological civilization and a desire to return to the charm of the fairy-tales ofhis puerility years.
